Terms of use
Last updated 3 September 2026. These terms cover the site at payouts.ng and nothing else.
These are the rules for using Payouts as an agent. They are written to be read, not to be skipped. If you use the site, they apply to you. This page and the privacy page are public, so you do not need an account to read either of them.
Who you are dealing with
Payouts is run by Ranked Technologies Limited, RC 9522220, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. You can reach a person at support@ranked.ng.
What Payouts is, and what it is not
Payouts gives you a tracking link and a running record of the commission you have earned. When a sale or signup is credited to your link, an entry is added to your balance. When your balance is large enough, you request a payout, and we pay you.
No money moves through this site. Payouts holds no funds, is not a wallet, is not a bank, and is not a licensed payment service provider. It records what is owed. The payment itself is made outside the site, from our own bank or Paystack account. Because the service is non-custodial and never takes possession of your money, it does not require a Central Bank of Nigeria licence.
The balance you see is our record of what we owe you. It is not money held on your behalf, and it does not sit in an account with your name on it.
Your account
- One account per person. Give a real name and a real email address.
- You are responsible for what happens under your login. Keep the password to yourself.
- Tell us at support@ranked.ng if you think someone else has got into your account.
If you are locked out
The site cannot send email today, so the password recovery form will not reach you with a reset link. This is a real limitation and we would rather write it here than let you keep trying. Write to support@ranked.ng from the email address on your account. We check who you are and reset the account by hand.
Bank details and how you get paid
- You enter your bank and your ten digit NUBAN account number on the account page. The site checks the NUBAN check digit in your browser before saving, but a valid check digit is not proof that the account exists or that it belongs to you.
- The name on the bank account should be your own name. We do not pay a third party account on your behalf.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the account number. If you enter the wrong number and the money reaches someone else, we cannot pull it back, and we will not pay twice.
- Keep the details current. If a transfer bounces because the account is closed or dormant, we hold the amount on your balance until you give us details that work.
Balances and payout requests
- Balances and payouts are in naira.
- The minimum payout request is ₦5,000. If we change that, the account page shows the current figure.
- Your commission rate is set on your account and shown on your dashboard. It can change for future earnings, and we will tell you if it does.
- A payout request is reviewed before it is paid. It can be accepted, rejected or marked processed once the transfer has gone out. When it is processed, we record the transfer reference against it so you can match it to your bank statement.
- We do not promise a payment date. Payment is made by hand, and how fast it happens depends on banking days and on us.
- We can correct a balance that was credited in error, including after a payment we tracked was reversed or charged back. Corrections are added as their own entry so you can see them.
What you must not do
- No self referral. Do not use your own link to buy from us and claim the commission.
- No fake signups, no bots, no incentivised clicks, no cookie stuffing.
- No spam. Do not push your link through unsolicited email, bulk WhatsApp, or comment sections.
- Do not claim to speak for us, do not say you are our employee, and do not promise anything on our behalf that we have not published.
- Do not bid on our brand names in paid search, and do not register domains or social accounts that look like ours.
- Do not attack the site, probe it, or try to reach accounts or data that are not yours.
Suspending or closing an account
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and we can withhold commission earned through activity that was faked, reversed or obtained in a way listed above. If we do that, we will say which entries and why. You can close your own account at any time by writing to support@ranked.ng, and we will pay any balance that was genuinely earned.
What the site costs
Nothing. We do not charge agents to use Payouts and we take no fee out of your balance. Your bank may charge you to receive a transfer, which is between you and your bank.
Availability
Payouts runs on a single server. There is no uptime guarantee, no service level agreement, and the site can be down for maintenance or because something broke. Use of the site is at your own risk, and as far as Nigerian law allows, our liability to you is limited to the commission you have genuinely earned and not yet been paid.
Keep your own record of what you earned. Ours is the working record, but it is sensible not to rely on one copy of anything.
The software
Payouts is built on Raider, an open source project released under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. Our modified source for the files we changed is linked in the footer of every page. The upstream licence is kept with the deployment.
Your data
Ranked Technologies Limited, RC 9522220, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria, is the data controller for everything you enter here. We are registered with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. No Data Protection Officer has been appointed, so privacy questions go to support@ranked.ng and a person reads them.
The server is a Mac Studio in Istanbul, Türkiye, with Cloudflare in front of it. Your email address, your name, your address, your phone number and your bank account number are stored and processed in Türkiye, not in Nigeria. The controller is Nigerian and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 applies to us, so this is a cross border transfer under that Act. We say it here, before you sign up, rather than after.
Under that Act you can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, object to what we do with it, ask us to restrict it, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to support@ranked.ng and we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
The detail, including what sits in each of the four database tables and what the site cannot do today, is on the privacy page. There are no analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and your bank details are held only so that a person can pay you.
Changes to these terms
We can change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. If a change matters to how you get paid, we will tell agents directly once the site can send email, and until then the change is announced here.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction over any dispute under them.
